What is in the box?

 
The content of the box: A Foote, a screwdriver, a nameplate and 2 brass screws.

Mounting the Vesa-bracket

What do we need?

  • 1 Vesa-axle
  • 1 Vesa-bracket
  • 4 screws M4x6
  • 1 mobile monitor with VESA 75x75 mounting holes

Step 1

Turn the monitor with the screen towards the table and gently lay it down with the bottom of the monitor (purple arrow) towards you.

Show the orientation of the VESA-axle.

Step 2

Put the Vesa-axle (see red arrow) in the middle of the 4 Vesa-mounting holes of the monitor. The Vesa-axle has 3 protruding parts, 2 with screw holes (green arrows) and 1 without screwholes (yellow arrow). The protruding part without screwhole is supposed to point towards the bottom of the screen.

Go to 3a when ports are on the left side and 3B when they are on the right side.

Step 3

This step depends on the which side of the monitor the ports for the cables are. The monitor still lies on the table with screen facing the table and the bottom of the screen towards you. If the ports are located on the left side of the monitor proceed to step 3a.If the ports are located on the right side of the monitor proceed to step 3b.

  • Shows how the VESA-bracket needs to be mounted when the ports are on the left.

    Step 3a: Ports left side

    • The Vesa-bracket has 2 protruding part facing the middle of the axle 
    • Place the Vesa-bracket around the Vesa-axle so 
    1. The screw holes of the monitor match the holes of the Vesa-bracke. 
    2. 1 of the protruding parts is on the left top side and the other on the right bottom ( see arrows )
  • Shows how the VESA-bracket needs to be mounted when the ports are on the right.

    Stap 3b: Port right side

    • The Vesa-bracket has 2 protruding part facing the middle of the axle 
    • Place the Vesa-bracket around the Vesa-axle so 
    1. The screw holes of the monitor match the holes of the Vesa-bracke. 
    2. 1 of the protruding parts is on the right top side and the other on the left bottom ( see arrows )
Fasten the VESA-bracket using the 4 screws.

Step 4

Use the countersunk M4x6 screws to attach the Vesa-bracket to the back of the monitor.

 

Attaching Foote to the mobile monitor

 
For the next step is needed: Monitor with mounted VESA-bracket, a Foote, a nametag, 2 brass screws and a screwdriver.

What do we need?

a. 1 Mobile monitor with a mounted Vesa-bracket, Tripod-mount or sticky mount *

b. 1 Foote

c. 1 wooden nametag

d. 2 countersunk screws M4x26

e. a screwdriver

* If there is no Vesa-bracket, Tripod-mount of sticky-mount mounted go to the start of the manual!

Step 1

The monitor still lies with the screen towards the table, the mount facing upwards and the bottom of the screen towards you.

Depicts the interface between the Foote and the VESA-axle.

Step 2

Place Foote on the Vesa-bracket. Make sure that Vesa-axles protruding parts with screw holes ( marked in green ) correspond with the cut-outs of Foote. The Vesa-axles protruding part without a screw hole ( marked in yellow ) has to be between the two middle parts of Foote.

  • Depicts the wrong orientation of the Foote when mounting it to the portable monitor.

  • Make sure that the correct side of Foote is mounted towards the monitor 

    In photo 1 Foote is mounted correctly.

    In photo 2 Foote is mounted wrong.

  • Depicts the right orientation of the Foote when mounting it to the portable monitor.

Shows the orientation of the nametag.

Step 3

Place the wooden nametag. The 2 countersunk holes have to line up with the 2 screw holes of the Vesa-axle. See the photo for the orientation of the letters.

Fasten the nametag using the 2 brass screws.

Step 4

Use the 2 countersunk brass screws M4x16 to fasten the name tag and secure Foote to your monitor.

Foote is now fully mounted

Swivel Foote 90° to align it with your monitor. Depending on the mounting of the Bracket to the monitor you have to turn either left of right.
